While the original Inktober challenge involves drawing 31 pictures based on prompts for every day of October, Tygan has used the past two years to create short stories based on the prompts instead. They are SO GOOD and have been really fun to read over the past month. Here are the links to all of Tygan's Inktober 2022 creations, with the blurbs he provided on Twitter, but make sure to read them before too long--a story may get taken down if Tygan decides to submit it for publication!

11. Eagle is a Greek-inspired myth I made up in middle school (3 min.)
12. Forget takes my anxiety about changing my car's oil to its supernatural conclusion (2 min.)
13. Kind is a retelling of Ed Young's Lon Po Po (4 min.)
14. Empty is set in a version of the early 1900s where followers of different religions have different super powers (6 min.)

17. Salty is a fictionalized account of David Hyrum Smith (8 min.)
18. Unlike the last story's 1800 words, Scrape is only 70 (1 min.)
19. Ponytail is a first date between unlikely characters (2 min.)
20. Bluff is about a man who tries to climb up out of Hell (4 min.)
21. Bad Dog is Balto, but unfortunately more realistic (1 min.)
22. Heist is, well, a heist (3 min.)
23. Booger is a fantasy about keepers of a forest (2 min.)
24. Fairy involves the fae online (1 min.)
25. Tempting takes place in an octopus Garden of Eden (3 min.)
26. Ego is a small superhero story (2 min.)
27. Snack is what can happen when you eat food that doesn't belong to you (3 min.)
28. Camping involves illegal camping (1 min.)
29. Uh-oh is, in a way, my longest work (1 min.-1 hr.)
