Balloon Day & Thanksgiving, 2016

Balloon Day is a holiday from Tygan's side of the family, initiated by his mom's generation when they were young. It takes place the day before Thanksgiving. Since all the kids have school off, they make presents for each other. Then they lay out blankets on the ground with balloons on top of them, and hide the presents underneath each person's blanket. On Thanksgiving morning, everyone theirs off their blanket and revels in their treasures. In Tygan's years of celebration, he's seen poems, sketches, stories, comics, and many other crafted products.
